What a good signing Alisson has been at Liverpool.
Months after Loris Karius’s horror show in the Champions League defeat to Real Madrid in 2018, the Reds spent big on bringing in Alisson from Roma.
Liverpool dropped around £66 million [BBC Sport] on signing the Brazil international but he’s been a revelation under Jurgen Klopp.
Alisson, who has won a clean sweep of domestic and European honours at Anfield, made his 200th appearance for the club in a Champions League victory over Ajax recently.

And it’s an achievement that the big man – who’s won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup – has admitted is simply ‘massive’.
He told Liverpool’s official website: “Wow. It’s massive. Two-hundred games I think is the most for one club and I am really attached to the clubs I’ve played for. My former team, my first team, Internacional back in Brazil, for Roma as well and now here. I am really happy and I am looking forward to the next 200.”
The brilliant thing about Alisson is that he could easily do another 200 games Liverpool.
Remember, the big man has only just turned 30 which, in goalkeeper terms, is still relatively young.
And if he has managed 200 over four years already then you could easily see him doing that again by the time he’s 34.
Alisson will come up against Tottenham Hotspur in North London on Sunday.
