Arsenal are allegedly interested in signing the Colombia international ace.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for James Rodriguez, according to a report from the Daily Mail, and some Gunners fans took Twitter in reaction to the news.
The Colombian is currently nearing the end of a two-year loan spell with Bayern Munich, and according to the Daily Mail, the Bavarian giants are happy for the winger to see out the rest of the season at the Emirates, if the north London club stump up the remaining £3 million that Real Madrid are owed.
Arsenal are currently in all sorts of trouble, with a poor run in the league having been compounded by chief scout Sven Mislintat’s exit from the club this week.
Unai Emery’s squad is in desperate need of reinforcements, but it could be argued that James Rodriguez is the last player they need, in spite of his obvious talent.
