Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after Phil Hay tweeted that Rodrigo might miss tomorrow’s clash with Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The Athletic’s Leeds correspondent tweeted that the 25-cap Spain international has picked up a fresh muscular problem, and is a doubt.

It’s just the latest issue in what has been an injury-hit campaign for the 30-year-old, following his big money move from Valencia.

It’s always sad to see a player struggle to stay fit, especially a forward of Rodrigo’s talent.

However, there’s no denying that Leeds are yet to get value for money on their £26 million investment.

The Leeds No.20 has scored just three goals in 20 Premier League appearances this season, while also assisting one goal as well.

Luckily, Patrick Bamford’s fine form up front – he has 13 Premier League goals – has taken the pressure away from Rodrigo somewhat.

However, Marcelo Bielsa will surely be keen for the club’s record signing to be available for selection more often than he has been.

Rodrigo came on as a substitute for Bamford against Chelsea in the 35th minute on Saturday, but was withdrawn in the 79th minute for Mateusz Klich.

Because of that, there were some who were suspicious about a potential injury – those suspicions have now been validated.

Let’s see what the Leeds fans on Twitter have been saying about Rodrigo’s injury…
