Tottenham Hotspur are said to be considering Alessandro Florenzi, who is an impressive right-back from Roma.

If Tottenham Hotspur do come in for Alessandro Florenzi then the move would surely appeal, as he slated Roma last season.
The 28-year-old is a slightly different target to most new additions at Tottenham in recent years, as he is in the peak of his career already.
Florenzi has been with Roma for the entirety of his career so far, after coming through the Italian side’s youth system.
It would surely be a wrench for Florenzi if he was to leave the Italian capital.
However, if Tottenham make an offer he may feel that the time is right.
Florenzi laid into his teammates at the end of last season, saying it was the worst Roma side he had been involved with for six years.
“This has been the worst of the last six seasons at Roma, as we dropped points when we had the victory in our pockets,” he said to Football Italia.

“There are many reasons why Juve are so far ahead of us, but right now we need to just get back on track.”
While those comments certainly don’t mean that Florenzi is eyeing up a move, it is easy to see why the temptation to move to Spurs may be there.
Roma appear to be going backwards, while Spurs are making rapid progress.
And if Tottenham do offer Florenzi the chance to join it is one which could very well appeal to him.
