Tottenham Hotspur face a battle to keep hold of Christian Erisken.
Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen
Spurs star Christian Eriksen has been linked with a big money move away from the club, with Barcelona thought to be heavily interested in obtaining his services, according to the Mirror.
Speculation intensified regarding his future in north London when the 25-year-old told Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet how it would be hard to turn down a move to the Spanish giants:
“Barcelona is a fantastic club — I don’t think there a lot of players who would say no to Barcelona. But there is ‘interest’ and then there is concrete interest. Until there is some concrete interest, I don’t have an opinion about it.”

The majority of Tottenham fans will be against the idea of allowing the Dane to leave the club this summer, irrelevant of the money they would receive for him.
Would they be appeased if three Barca players headed in the opposite direction though?
Here are three potential Barcelona stars who would make a difference to the Spurs side, if they decided to cash in on Eriksen:
Andre Gomes:
The Portuguese midfielder has struggled since his move to the Nou Camp last summer, but he still has so much to offer.
His ball retention, and expert passing skills would be a superb asset to Tottenham, and his arrival would certainly soften the blow, should the Denmark international leave.

Arda Turan:
At 30, The Turkey international does not fit the profile of a typical Pochettino signing, but maybe now is the time to add some experience to the Spurs squad.
If Eriksen leaves, Turan possesses all of the attributes needed to fill the void, and would be an interesting option for the Lilywhites.

Paco Alcacer:
The 23-year-old has hardly had a look in since his switch to Barca, and a move to Spurs would surely suit all parties involved.
He would be an ideal partner, or back-up for Harry Kane, and would certainly be an upgrade on Vincent Janssen.
