Leeds fans have taken to Twitter after The Times claimed that Harry Winks is looking to leave Tottenham, and they’re all on the same page.
What’s the story?
Well, the Leeds fans on Twitter want to see Winks at Elland Road.
The Times believe the £50,000-a-week man is hoping to leave Spurs on loan in January, as he struggles for game time under Nuno Espirito Santo.
One supporter claimed Winks would ‘thrive’ under Marcelo Bielsa, while another said he’d be an upgrade on Adam Forshaw.
The 25-year-old has only played 61 minutes of Premier League football this season, and has made just five appearances in all competitions.
Interestingly, Leeds were actually offered Winks back in August, according to The Athletic.
However, the Whites turned Tottenham’s offer down.
Should Leeds sign the Tottenham man?

In our view, Leeds should sign Winks in January, but only on loan.
The 10-cap England international has been out of the spotlight for a while now, and it remains to be seen if he’s still the tidy player he once was.
A few cameo appearances here and there make it difficult to properly judge the midfielder.
That is why we feel a loan is necessary, in order for Bielsa to check him out thoroughly before offering a permanent contract.

Leeds are quite light on numbers in midfield, so Winks would be a necessary signing.
Over the summer, Bielsa and Victor Orta tried very hard to sign Lewis O’Brien from Huddersfield, making four bids in total (BBC).
Clearly, Bielsa wanted a new midfielder at Elland Road, so a move for Winks isn’t entirely unrealistic.
For now, let’s see what the Leeds fans on Twitter have been saying about the out-of-favour Tottenham man…
