Even Tottenham Hotspur supporters have taken to Twitter to praise Arsenal attacker Gabriel Martinelli.

The Arsenal forward dazzled on Saturday as the Gunners hammered Leeds United 4-1 at Elland Road.

Tottenham and the Gunners are North London rivals.

But even some Spurs fans were impressed by the Brazilian wonderkid, who bagged himself a first-half brace in West Yorkshire.

Here’s what Tottenham supporters were saying on Twitter last night:

Baller

You know you’re a baller when even rival fans are putting loyalties to one side in order to give you credit.

And in fairness to the Lilywhites faithful, they’re absolutely right because Martinelli – a £6 million signing by Arsenal in 2019 – is an outrageous talent.

The way in which he took both of his goals against Leeds is testament to that and if he can find some consistency, well the Emirates Stadium outfit would have an even bigger gem on their hands.

Consistency is what separates the brilliant players from the great ones and it would be an enormous shame if the Arsenal sensation continues to struggle to shine on a regular basis.

Let’s face it, there’s no doubt that the 20-year-old has been ripping up the Premier League these past few weeks, netting four Premier League goals in six outings, but he was nowhere to be seen earlier in the campaign.

However, he is showing up for Arsenal now and the important thing is that the youngster continues to do it because if he fails to, well Tottenham supporters have nothing to be envious about.
