Some Newcastle United fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported that they’re interested in signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Liverpool.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is undoubtedly a talented footballer. After all, he’s an England international who has played for two of the biggest teams in the country in the shape of Arsenal and Liverpool.
Newcastle supporters have had something of a mixed reaction to this news, and it’s easy to understand why.
On one hand, Oxlade-Chamberlain is a talented footballer who would improve Steve Bruce’s squad, but you also have to consider the fact that he’s on big money and he’s sadly had a number of injury problems in recent years.
If Oxlade-Chamberlain can come in and stay fit he’d be a real asset for the Tyneside outfit, but as Liverpool and England fans know, that is easier said than done.
