According to The Sun, Leeds are keen to sign Ajax left-back Nicolás Tagliafico, who is also wanted by Manchester City and Chelsea.
Leeds have used Ezgjan Alioski in that department for the majority of this season.
However, The Sun claim that Marcelo Bielsa is desperate for a specialist in that position, with Tagliafico on his radar.
Now, if Bielsa has been listening to Radio Marca, he’ll probably be grinning from ear to ear.
Why? Well, the 27-cap Argentina international said that he ‘would love to move’ to a more competitive league.
It doesn’t get much more competitive than the Premier League, so Leeds surely sat up and took notice when Tagliafico made this revelation.

In our view, this would be one of the best signings Leeds have made in their recent history.
Tagliafico is a vastly experienced defender at the top level.
As aforesaid, he has a number of caps for Argentina.

The South American has also racked up 22 appearances in the Champions League.
He starred for Ajax in the 2018/19 season, as they were seconds away from reaching the Champions League final, scoring three goals in ten games.
If Alioski leaves and Tagliafico comes in, it would be the best swap any side in England will make this summer, in our view.
