Yves Bissouma was linked with a move to Liverpool this week – and some Everton fans on Twitter are absolutely raving about the player.
According to The Express, Liverpool have asked Brighton about potentially signing the 24-year-old before the transfer window shuts on Tuesday.
Bissouma has been heavily linked with a move away from the Seagulls and it was previously reported that he had his heart set on a switch to Arsenal, which won’t happen now.
But he could still leave to join somebody else – like Jurgen Klopp’s Reds, perhaps – and his performance against Everton on Saturday did his chances of getting a big move away no harm at all, it has to be said.
The Ivory Coast midfielder was exceptional again for Albion and kept the problematic Richarlison in check throughout, but Everton secured a 2-0 win away to The Amex nonetheless.

Liverpool fans were understandably over the moon at the prospect of bringing him to Merseyside.
But with only three days left in the summer window, Klopp and Michael Edwards have a hell of a lot of work to do if the rumour has any credibility whatsoever.
Liverpool supporters have been crying out for a Gini Wijnaldum replacement since May and as things stand, they won’t be signing one.
But Bissouma would certainly help fill that void left by the Dutchman, given that they are both similar sorts of players.
And it’ll be interesting to see if a late move is made over the coming days, as sickening as some Everton fans might find it.
