Liverpool fans react to reported bid for Joao Felix

Liverpool have already made a move to sign the Benfica youngster.

Liverpool are interest in signing Benfica ace Joao Felix this month, with Portuguese media outlet Correio da Manha claiming that the Merseyside outfit have already had a £61.8 million bid rejected for the youngster, and some Reds fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.

Jürgen Klopp has spent heavily over the past two transfer windows, bringing in Virgil van Dijk for £70 million, Naby Keita and Alisson Becker for more than £60 million each and Fabinho for £40 million.

It seems as though Liverpool are determined to add even more quality to their ranks, however, with Joao Felix thought to be featuring highly on Klopp’s wish-list, according to Portuguese media outlet Correio da Manha.

Whether the Portuguese teenager is what Liverpool need, however, is up for debate.

The 19-year-old has a £106 million release clause inserted into his current contract, according to the Record, and that really is an extortionate amount of money for someone so young.
