West Bromwich Albion are said to be keen on the former Everton boss.

According to the Sun, West Bromwich Albion want a manager with Premier League experience and have put former Everton boss Ronald Koeman on their short list.
The problem is, the Dutchman showed a somewhat reckless abandon for spending vast sums on players he did not need at Goodison Park, while ignoring the obvious holes in his squad, and one wonders if that is really what West Brom require right now.

Like Everton, the Baggies have plenty of money to spend if the right player comes along, but Koeman’s recent record in the transfer market does not bode well if he does end up at The Hawthorns.
What West Brom need is stability, with a couple of smart signings to supplement the impressive squad built under former gaffer Tony Pulis.

Koeman did a fine job at former club Southampton, but his time at Everton has tarnished his reputation and it is hard to see him as the right fit for a West Brom side that should not be in their current predicament.
Anyone can come in and spend vast sums of cash but only the best managers identify key areas of weakness and strengthen effectively.
Everton were short up front and at left-back and yet Koeman splashed the cash on countless number 10s, and West Brom would be wise to look elsewhere for their next permanent manager.
