Tottenham have been linked with Mark Uth but West Ham appointing his Hoffenheim boss could prove a problem for Pochettino.

It appears hugely unlikely that Julian Nagelsmann will replace Slaven Bilic at West Ham United.
The Express report that the Hoffenheim manager, who, at 30, is arguably the most exciting young coach in world football, is on The Hammers’ radar. The London club are understood to have made informal contact with Nagelsmann after Sky Sports claimed that Bilic has two games to save his job after Friday’s 3-0 home defeat to Brighton.
Yet, it appears to be one of the worst kept secrets in football that Bavarian giants Bayern Munich have earmarked Nagelsmann as their long-term future manager. German football expert Raphael Honigstein told the BBC that Bayern are desperate to appoint Nagelsmann at the end of this season, seeing him as a ‘once in a generation’ talent.

Nonetheless, there’s no harm in wondering who Nagelsmann could bring to West Ham if the capital club pull off the seemingly impossible and bring the managerial prodigy to England.
And there’s one name in the frame that stands out above the rest. Mark Uth has taken his game to a new level this season, scoring seven times in 13 games including one in each leg of the Champions League play-off against Liverpool and a stunning brace in a dramatic win over Bayern.

The 26-year-old striker appears to be the sort of player West Ham are crying out for. He has the clever movement of Javier Hernandez but also links the play effectively and can drift into wide areas, giving The Hammers a much needed mobile presence in attack.
London rivals Tottenham Hotspur have been tracking Uth since January, per The Mirror, with Southampton also linked. West Ham appointing Nagelsmann, however, should put them in the driving seat.
Though that is easier said than done.
