West Ham United have already had one offer rejected by West Bromwich Albion for Kyle Bartley.

The Baggies want the £4 million rated centre-back from Swansea City this summer, and if they do manage to complete a deal, then it could free up Craig Dawson for a move.

West Ham have already seen a bid rejected for Dawson, as claimed by the Telegraph, but Manuel Pellegrini’s side would be wise to repeat their offer if Bartley does arrive.
Dawson has generally played at right-back for West Brom, but there were thoughts he could move to central defence this upcoming season, with Jonny Evans leaving and Ahmed Hegazi’s future in doubt.
Bartley’s arrival would help to cover for their absences though, and that could make West Brom more open to doing business with West Ham.

The Hammers are known to want to strengthen their defence this summer, and Dawson could help tighten up their backline.
West Ham’s initial offer for Dawson was thought to be £12 million, but it remains to be seen whether West Brom would be more willing to negotiate, with Bartley signed up.
