Would Christian Pulisic move give Tottenham advantage for James Maddison?

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the Norwich City ace.

Bild have reported that Liverpool are preparing a £53 million offer for Borussia Dortmund attacker Christian Pulisic.

Liverpool have previously been linked with Norwich City star James Maddison this summer and it seems unlikely that both will be signed, given that both operate in a similar role.

With that in mind, signing Pulisic could be a fantastic boost for Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham are also linked with Maddison and if Jurgen Klopp’s side are out of the picture then surely it’s favourable for Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.

The Lilywhites aren’t the only game in town, however, and ESPN have previously credited their Premier League rivals Everton with an interest.

But you have to imagine that the 21-year-old Norwich starlet would snub the Toffees if the alternative was a move to Tottenham.

As it stands, Liverpool, Champions League finalists, represent serious competition for Pochettino in regards to signing Maddison, but if their attentions are focused on Pulisic then it has to be good news for the North Londoners.
