Wolverhampton Wanderers missed out on Oleksandr Zinchenko earlier this summer, but Celtic may still have a chance of signing the Manchester City attacking midfielder.

City manager Pep Guardiola has suggested on the club’s official Twitter page that Zinchenko could leave at the end of the month, and that will encourage Celtic in their reported pursuit of the former Ufa youngster – who earns £20,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.

However, the problem for Celtic is that City are reportedly not willing to do a straight loan for Zinchenko.

According to The Manchester Evening News, the Citizens either want a permanent deal now or a loan with an obligation to buy.
