Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to wax lyrical over Leeds winger Raphinha, as reports emerge which state the Reds want to sign him.
Juve Live believe that Anfield will be the Brazilian forward’s next destination, with Marcelo Bielsa eyeing Juventus winger Douglas Costa as his replacement.
Presumably, the Liverpool supporters below watched the 24-year-old in action for the Whites against Crystal Palace last night.
Judging by their praiseworthy comments on Twitter, they were very impressed with what they saw from the South American.
As WhoScored shows, Raphinha had four shots against the Eagles, with two of them on target.
The former Rennes attacker also registered one key passes, while winning two freekicks and completing two accurate crosses.
The Leeds No.18 also had a powerful second-half shot after making a fine run in behind, which Vicente Guaita could only parry into Patrick Bamford’s path for him to slot home.
Raphinha has four goals and four assists so far in his debut Premier League campaign, following a £17 million move to Yorkshire in October.
He seems to have adapted brilliant to Bielsa’s high-pressing style.
This should, presumably, stand him in good stead if he ends up partaking in Jurgen Klopp’s ‘gegenpressing’ methods.
