Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported that Al Nassr have made a loan offer for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

What’s the story with Aubameyang?

The striker has been frozen out at Arsenal under Mikel Arteta, and it seems as though his career at the Emirates could soon be over.

Al Nassr have made an offer to take the Gabon forward on loan, but their offer also includes an €8m obligation to buy at the end of the season.

If this offer is accepted, then Aubameyang will have played his final game for Arsenal.

Sad

It would be very sad if Aubameyang left Arsenal in this way.

Say what you will about his recent poor discipline, but Aubameyang is a modern-day Arsenal legend.

He’s won a Golden Boot with the Gunners and he fired the London club to an FA Cup back in 2020, he’s been their star player of this era, and it would be a real shame if he left under such a dark cloud.

However, due to his recent fall-out with Mikel Arteta, it seems as though Aubameyang has already been cast aside at Arsenal, and now it looks like he could be moved on.
