Liverpool fans pleaded with their club to sign the Napoli forward on Twitter.

Liverpool have been heavily active during this summer’s transfer window, but their fans want Jürgen Klopp to keep splashing the cash, with Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne a potential target.
Transfer Market Web ran a report yesterday claiming that the Reds are interested in signing the Napoli forward, and whilst the website is notorious for concocting weird and wonderful transfer rumours, it would be no surprise to see Klopp make a move for the Italian this summer.

The German still has not replaced Philippe Coutinho after his exit from Anfield in January, and Insigne would be the ideal replacement for the Brazilian.

The Napoli star can play anywhere along the front-line, and his impeccable technique combined with his clinical nature in front of goal would make Liverpool’s front-line even more devastating than it already is.

Insigne could be available for around €60 million (£52.6 million) this summer, according to the Mirror, and that would actually represent decent value in today’s current market.
The 27-year-old really is an exceptional player, and would undoubtedly take the Reds to another level.
