Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have made their minds up on the prospect of Scott Parker becoming their next manager after Fulham’s relegation was confirmed last night.
For all of the plaudits Parker has been getting this season, his team has still been relegated, and while the Whites have been lauded at times for showing fight and playing some good football, the reality is that they’ve only won five games all season.
Spurs have been linked with a move for Parker, but it seems as though supporters aren’t too keen to see him come in after last night, and to be fair, we can understand why.
If Parker was auditioning for the Tottenham job, he did a rather poor job of it, making some baffling substitutions and tactical changes that didn’t help his side at all.
Of course, whether or not Parker is appointed remains to be seen, but if he is brought in, it certainly won’t be the most popular appointment the north London club could make.
