Julian Brandt is now reportedly on Arsenal’s radar ahead of the January transfer window.

The Gunners might’ve beaten Chelsea 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, for their first Premier League victory since November 1.

But there’s no denying that Arsenal still absolutely need reinforcements to come in next month.

Despite the win, Mikel Arteta’s side remain 15th in the Premier League table after scoring only 15 goals in as many games this season.

Arteta is crying out for some attacking flair and David Ornstein of The Athletic claimed on Saturday that the Borussia Dortmund star is certainly one player who the North Londoners might consider.

The 24-year-old joined Dortmund from Bayer Leverkusen 18 months ago but has found first-team chances hard to come by so far this season.

Here’s how Arsenal fans reacted to the speculation about possibly signing him:

The Germany international is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also play on the left-hand side.

But with Mesut Ozil potentially being recalled by Arteta in January, it could be argued that Arsenal are better off keeping their money until the summer window and just using Ozil as the midfield spark that the team is desperately lacking.
