Understandably, excitement is palpable around the Spurs fanbase ahead of this arrival, and one man who is eagerly anticipating Bissouma’s arrival in north London is Tottenham legend Gary Lineker.

Lineker thinks that this would be an excellent signing for Spurs, and we’re inclined to agree.
Signing a young, proven midfielder for just £25m is a snip in this day and age, and with Arsenal and Liverpool also in pursuit, Tottenham have won a hotly contensted transfer race for a very talented player.
Bissouma has shown his quality in a Brighton team that aren’t competing at the very top level, and now, he has the chance to truly flourish in a team that could very soon be competing for major honours.
Factor in that Antonio Conte is brilliant at transforming good players into great players, and you have to conclude that Bissouma could be an instant star at Tottenham.
