Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco.
According to Defensa Central, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has asked the Gunners to sign Isco from Spanish and European giants Madrid in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that the Spaniard wants to secure the services of the 28-year-old on a loan deal in January and make the deal permanent in the summer of 2021.
Isco has been on the books of Madrid since 2013 and has won the La Liga twice and the Champions League four times.
However, the former Valencia and Malaga star has struggled for playing time in recent times and is not guaranteed a place in the starting lineup.
According to WhoScored, the 28-year-old has made three starts and five substitute appearances in La Liga for Zinedine Zidane’s side so far this season.
During the 2019-20 campaign, Isco made 15 starts and eight substitute appearances in the league for Madrid, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
