Some Liverpool fans on social media have been calling for the club to sign Alexander Isak after yet another brilliant performance for Sweden at Euro 2020.
The striker has been exceptional in the tournament so far, and while he’s yet to net his first goal, he’s been a menace up top.
Indeed, his large frame and quick feet have made him a nightmare for defenders, as shown by the decisive moment in Friday’s game where he won Sweden a penalty.
If it weren’t for a poor piece of finishing from Marcus Berg against Spain, Isak would also have an assist to his name at this tournament.
The fact that Isak is making headlines at the Euros without scoring a goal or getting a single assist just goes to show how good his all-round play has been, and that’s what Liverpool need in a striker.
The Reds have been linked with a move for Isak in recent days, and it’s fair to say that fans want to see him brought in.
