Premier League Leicester City will reportedly have to pay £40m to sign Tielemans permanently from Ligue 1 outfit Monaco.

There was a lot of expectation on Youri Tielemans when he arrived at Leicester City on loan from Monaco in the January transfer window.
A two-time Belgian Young Player of the Year, the 21-year-old never really set the world alight in France but his reputation preceded him when links with the King Power Stadium first emerged.
It is hard to shed a reputation as one of the top young midfielders in world football after all. But if Tielemans was feeling any pressure, he hasn’t shown it so far.

He has looked a cut above in Leicester blue, providing assists in consecutive Premier League games to boot. It was Tielemans’ perfectly weighted, slide rule passes which set up goals for Demarai Gray and Jamie Vardy against Brighton and Watford.
His assist for Vardy looked particularly encouraging. After all, the England international has been starved of that sort of service all season long.
So with The Mail reporting that The Foxes will have to shatter their transfer record to sign Tielemans permanently in the summer, Monaco demanding £40 million, the early signs suggest he could be worth every penny.
