Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to suggest a position change for Hector Bellerin, following West Ham’s 4-1 win over Leicester.

What’s the story?

Well, on Monday evening, the east Londoners hammered the Foxes at the London Stadium, with Antonio scoring two goals.

In doing so, the 31-year-old became West Ham’s all-time top scorer in the Premier League with 49 goals, overtaking Paulo Di Canio.

Interestingly, Antonio has achieved the feat despite spending plenty of time at right-back throughout his West Ham career.

Now, Arsenal fans have questioned whether it would be worth trialling their own right-back in Bellerin up top.

Would Hector Bellerin succeed at striker for Arsenal?

In our view, the Spaniard would not have the same impact as Antonio up top.

Whereas the West Ham No.9 played as an attacker for Nottingham Forest and other clubs before joining the Hammers, Bellerin has never done so.

As Transfermarkt shows, 40 appearances as a right-midfielder is as far up the pitch Bellerin has ever gone.

The 26-year-old’s goal record of nine in 239 for the Gunners also doesn’t suggest the £110,000-a-week man will cause much damage to the opposition.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, your position is probably safe for now.

Nevertheless, let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about a potential position switch for Bellerin…
