Don Hutchison says Arsenal transfer target Victor Osimhen would make the ‘worst choice’ if he were to secure a move to Chelsea, either now or later on in the summer, as he told ESPN.
Now, of course, even someone as money-crazy as Chelsea owner Todd Boehly, he’s not going to sanction such a deal because only hours of the January transfer window remain.
But Hutchison made his comments in a general sense also, as well as talking about the striker’s long-term future, with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal big admirers of the 24-year-old.

But by the time the season is out, Osimhen will be a legend in Naples because Luciano Spalletti’s side should be Serie A champions for the first time in over three decades.
Osimhen, who has an incredible 14 goals from 16 league games this season, is a big reason behind that, as the player’s future was discussed by former Liverpool midfielder Hutchison.
“If someone is going to go in for ridiculous money,” said Hutchison. “The problem is, if Mudryk is £100 million, then this guy is £300 million.
“I honestly hope that he stays at Napoli. This is not a dig at Chelsea, I promise it’s not. The worst move he could make, if they want in this window, £200 million whatever the number is. That would be the worst choice he would make.
“He’s an all-out striker that runs around. Amazing touch. He’s chaos in a great way. Chelsea would play it sideways and sideways. That would be the worst move he could make.
“Man City aren’t going to sign him because they have Haaland. Liverpool have done their money on Nunez.”

OSIMHEN IS ONE OF EUROPE’S BEST
Someone like Erling Haaland is deservedly getting the plaudits for posting outrageous numbers in perhaps the best league in the world.
Real Madrid legend Karim Benzema has the Ballon d’Or in his cabinet after a stellar past 12 months, including winning the European Cup.
Harry Kane might be smashing goalscoring records left, right and centre.
But someone like Osimhen deserves huge credit for his rise, and with the money Premier League teams have, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he is playing in England sooner rather than later.
