Manchester City’s title celebration video was not a hit…

Leeds United’s attempts to unveil a new badge were received disastrously earlier this year.
Tens of thousands of fans signed a petition against it within a matter of hours and the design was mocked by leading football pundits like Gary Lineker.

It was seen as a demonstration of modern football PR men trying and failing to connect with real fans, on an embarrassing level.
Nothing could be worse, right?
Well Manchester City’s title celebration video is pretty close, with the club releasing a short film after the title was confirmed.
Celebrating victory .. Celebrating together!

It featured fans and players celebrating wildly to the theme of a kids nursery song with beer in pubs replaced with water.
City’s video was an attempt to connect with real supporters from across different clubs and show off, but it misfired.
Football fans have lambasted it as being up there with Leeds United’s badge showing the very worst modern football has to offer, with some even arguing it was worse.
