Queens Park Rangers fans on Twitter have provided a mixed reaction to rumours that they are closing in on the signature of Tottenham’s Luke Amos.
West London Sport has claimed that Amos is expected to move across London on a permanent basis by next week.
Tottenham’s academy product spent a season on loan at QPR during the recently concluded campaign and it seems he will continue working with Mark Warburton and his young squad.
There are sections of QPR fans who don’t feel that Amos did enough last season for their club to now sign him up permanently.
But others have defended the technically gifted midfielder and they believe their club will complete a smart piece of business if the deal goes through.
Warburton’s side weren’t really threatened with relegation, nor did they really push for the play-offs last term.

Not many would expect them to finish in the top-six next season, but with the young guns at QPR adding more experience to their legs and stability, they may surprise a few.
Amos should just look at his former academy teammate, Josh Onomah, who won promotion via the play-offs with Fulham.
He will now be lining up against Spurs next season and Amos will be hoping to follow in his footsteps and do the same.
