Liverpool fans on Twitter were in awe of Jack Grealish on Friday night despite his Aston Villa side suffering a 2-1 defeat against Manchester United.
The 25-year-old provided an assist for Villa’s equalising goal before a controversial penalty won the game for Manchester United, who go level on point with first-placed Liverpool in the table.
It has been well-documented that those at Old Trafford are big fans of Villa’s ball-carrying expert, but it seems as though Liverpool have joined the race, according to the Mirror.
That will be music to the ears of Liverpool supporters because they would like their club to sign the England international after watching him run the show at Old Trafford.
Even though Villa suffered a narrow defeat, it could be argued that Grealish was Man of the Match against a team now pushing for the title.
Grealish has this great knack of picking up the ball in pockets of spaces and then being brave to attack those spaces regardless of how many players are in front of him or around him.

Not only that, his final ball, whether it be a pass or a cross, is another one of his underrated traits.
But Liverpool fans were seriously impressed with what they saw from Grealish against Manchester United, who was perhaps one of the players of the year in 2020.
Here is a selection of Liverpool fans reacting to Grealish’s display from last night:
