Ola Aina has unveiled his plans to become a ‘world-class’ full-back capable of competing at the very top of the game amid claims that he is heading back to England with Everton or West Ham United, while speaking during an Instagram Live session with Baiteze Squad

The London-born youngster only packed his bags and swapped the capital for Turin last summer. But it seems that Aina may be touching down again on English soil sooner than expected.

Calciomercato claim that the athletic Nigerian international would be open to the idea of joining Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton or David Moyes’ West Ham this summer, with Torino expected to listen to offers of around £9 million.

The attack-minded Aina impressed during his debut campaign in Italian football and there is no doubt that the 23-year-old has the raw talent to take his game to a whole new level in the seasons to come.

Whether that is at Everton or West Ham remains to be seen.

“I want to keep good level of playing as long as I can. I feel like I a not really a kid anymore. I want to start wining trophies, titles and leagues, playing week in, week out,” said the former Hull City loanee.

“I want to maintain a level that people can look at and say that’s world class. A consistent level.”

If Aina wants to sample the sweet taste of silverware, he is unlikely to achieve his overall ambitions at Goodison Park or the London Stadium.

Then again, a move to one of the Premier League’s biggest and best supported clubs could pave the way for a return to a bonafide giant like Chelsea – just don’t mention the phrase ‘stepping stone’.
