The transfer window is open once again and Arsenal fans will be hoping for the club to deliver the goods ahead of the new season in September.
For a number of weeks now, players from across Europe have been linked with the North London club, including Wolves hitman, Raul Jimenez.
French outlet Le10 Sport have claimed that Jimenez is a potential target for Arsenal if they lose either of their experienced duo, Alexandre Lacazette or Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.
If Arsenal fans are unsure about Jimenez then they should listen to the words of Manchester City midfielder, Ilkay Gundogan, who labelled him as ‘world-class’ in April.
“I think he has everything a world-class striker needs,” as quoted by TalkSport. “For a striker, he is so mobile, but also physically so good and talented technically on the ball. I can imagine him playing with us.
“Maybe [he’s] not on that level yet, but he reminds me a little bit of Lewandowski because I’ve played with him. In terms of style, I think there is still a lot of potential.
“It’s so difficult to predict but I think [Jimenez] would get a chance in every single top-six team and there’s a good possibility he could do well.”

Whilst the Arsenal faithful don’t want to lose their two key men up top, a player like Jimenez would no doubt transform them.
Jimenez netted 17 Premier League goals during the recently concluded campaign and has scored three and assisted the same number in the Europa League – he can add to that tally as Wolves aim to win the Europa League in these coming weeks.
Given the high praise the Wolves man has received from a top rival, it just goes to show the quality he has and if he’s seemingly good enough to play alongside Gundogan at the Etihad then Arsenal fans shouldn’t mind the idea of him working his magic at the Emirates.
