Liverpool could be an option for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe next year.
That is according to a report from L’Equipe.
The French outlet states that Anfield is a possible destination for Kylian Mbappe and that he could very well be tempted to move there if Liverpool make a bid for him.
At one point during the summer transfer window, it looked like the 24-year-old would not be at PSG for this season.
Mbappe was never close to signing a new contract, with his current one expiring in 2024, resulting in PSG being open to a sale.
As per Fabrizio Romano, the French giants put their talisman on the market, but things eventually smoothed over and the player did not go anywhere.
Liverpool have been interested in Kylian Mbappe before
Last year, Mbappe revealed that he has spoken to Liverpool about a move in the past.
Speaking to The Telegraph, the France international said: “I talked to Liverpool because it’s the favourite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool. I don’t know why, you will have to ask her! It’s a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It’s a big club.”

Mbappe would obviously be the dream signing for Liverpool or any other club for that matter. In the words of his national team manager Didier Deschamps, the former AS Monaco man is a “world-class” footballer.
He may also be the only player who is capable of replacing Mohamed Salah’s goals, which the Reds could lose in the near future.
Salah is on the radar of Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad, who recently made a £150m bid for the Egyptian, according to Sky Sports.
If he does depart Jurgen Klopp’s side, Liverpool have to do everything they can do snap up Mbappe.
