Ben Foster has shared that recently departed Tottenham man, Danny Rose, is ‘world-class’ at helping the younger players at Watford, as he told his own YouTube channel.
The goalkeeper shared that he is ‘buzzing’ that Rose has signed for the Hornets after leaving Spurs and claimed that he has been ‘incredible’ behind the scenes.
A lot was made of Rose’s final few years in North London, which saw him seemingly fall out with the likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Daniel Levy and Jose Mourinho.
And his new teammate, Foster, has shared what he is like around the training ground and out on that pitch.
“I have to say, just talking about helping out the younger players,” said Foster. “I know for a fact that you will be world-class at doing that.
“I have seen already on the pitches out there when we are training, the amount you talk, you are pushing players around, telling them where to be and all the right sort of information. It’s incredible stuff.
“For me, people like Danny Rose are worth their weight in gold. Not just what they do on the pitch, but off the pitch as well.
“The professionalism. The amount that they help other people. You would want that guy in your team. I am buzzing that he signed. He is a proper pro.”

The last time Rose kicked a ball in senior colours was for Newcastle for a short six-month period.
Given that he had hardly played before then, it wasn’t a surprise that he struggled but now he has a chance to put things right at Vicarage Road.
There will be a lot less pressure on Rose at his new club because their task is simply avoiding relegation.
But when he does return to Spurs next season, it will be interesting to see the reception he gets from the fans.
