Wolves defender Conor Coady has told Sky Sports that Harry Kane is a ‘true professional’ despite the Tottenham striker still being absent from training.
The England captain was due to return for pre-season at Tottenham on Monday, but at this moment in time, he still hasn’t been seen at Hotspur Way.
Both Kane and Coady were part of the England squad that reached the final of Euro 2020 over the summer, so the Wolves defender would know the striker’s character pretty well.
Coady thinks both Kane and Spurs will ‘sort out’ their situation, as he labelled the player as ‘world-class’.
“Harry’s, of course, got his own situation going on with Tottenham,” said Coady. “It’s hard for anybody else outside that situation to speak about it.
“Him and the club will sort out his own situation. We are looking at it from the outside. It’s hard for me to speak about that because he’s got his own situation going on.
“He’s a true professional. A world-class footballer and he will come up with that situation with his club and himself.”

It’s pretty obvious that Kane wants out of Spurs, with Manchester City seemingly waiting in the wings.
But if he does continue on in North London then it will be interesting to see if Coady becomes his club teammate.
The former Liverpool academy product, 28, has been linked with a move to Spurs this summer, according to 90 Min.
And in truth, it shouldn’t be a surprise given that Nuno Espirito Santo is the man in the Spurs dugout.
