If rumours are to be believed, Everton remain interested in signing Adrien Rabiot.
The France international was tentatively linked with a move to Goodison Park throughout the summer transfer window, though nothing concrete ever materialised.
That being said, the Juventus star is reportedly back on Everton’s radar ahead of the January window [Calciomercato].
And if Carlo Ancelotti or Marcel Brands watched him in action on international duty last night, it might make them even more keen to bring him to Merseyside.
The former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder – who played under Everton boss Ancelotti at the Ligue 1 side – impressed in his country’s 2-1 win away to Croatia last night.
Rabiot managed to win six tackles – the second-highest of any player on the field – and WhoScored gave him a rating of 7.1 for his display.
And here’s how Twitter reacted to his performance last night.
Rabiot, who earns £120,000 per week in Turin [Calciomercato], has a dire reputation, owing mostly to a reportedly less-than-desirable attitude, but he also has an abundance of talent and it’ll be so interesting to see if the Italian coach brings him to Goodison.
That performance won’t have done his chances any harm at all.
