1) Pedro inspires Copa Del Rey win

Barcelona may have lost out on their top two trophy targets, but they made sure Pep Guardiola’s final moment was a special one. In the Copa Del Rey Final at the weekend, Barcelona took on Athletic Bilbao, winning 3-0. Guardiola’s side ran out convincing winners, courtesy of two goals from Pedro. Barcelona’s other goal was scored, of course, by Lionel Messi, his 73rd goal of an amazing season. You can watch Pedro’s opener below.

2) Ex-Prem trio crush Scotland

Craig Levein’s Scotland tenure goes from bad to worse. The Scots were smashed 5-1 by Jurgen Klinsmann’s USA side at the weekend, and Everton loanee Landon Donovan was the star of the show, scoring a hat-trick. Scotland were so bad that the goal they scored was an own goal by USA, while the American’s other goals were scored by Jermaine Jones, once of Blackburn, and former Villa loanee Michael Bradley. Bradley’s goal was a real corker, and you can watch it below.

3) Claudio Pizarro signs for Bayern Munich

One former Chelsea striker has made the switch to the team they beat to win the Champions League, and on a free transfer he is quite a signing. Pizarro starts his second spell at the club off the back of a hugely successful spell with Werder Bremen, with the 33-year-old scoring 18 times in 28 games this season. He is the highest ever scoring foreign player in the Bundesliga. Watch Pizarro in action below.

4) Hulk in red hot form for Brazil

Porto striker Hulk has been in the news recently for his attempts to secure a move to a Premier League club, namely Chelsea. He was in action for Brazil at the weekend, scoring twice against Denmark. He says he is keen to play a part at this year’s Olympic games in London, although we are not sure that any club he signs for will be particularly thrilled with that. You can watch his opening goal below, scored from outside the box.

5) Alecsandro scores amazing bicycle kick

This one is worth waiting for, a simply incredible goal scored down in Brazil over the weekend. It was scored by Vasco da Gama striker Alecsandro against Portuguesa to clinch a 1-0 win. It was a truly spectacular goal, and you can see it below.
