An Everton loan star and a Chelsea legend feature in our round-up…

Enjoy the latest edition of our World Football video feature, every Tuesday and Friday at 1pm

1) Landon Donovan seals Galaxy comeback

Landon Donovan, part time LA Galaxy star and part time Everton loanee, was in fine form for his American side in midweek. He scored two goals to seal a 3-2 comeback against Real Salt Lake, clinching the winner by rounding the ‘keeper and tapping into an empty net. It was Galaxy’s second win in a row, but they remain second from bottom in the MLS Western conference. Watch his winner below.

2) Ianni scores a goal to rival Zlatan’s

Donovan’s goal was not the best in the MLS this week, not by any stretch. That honour goes to Patrick Ianni of the Seattle Sounders, who scored an incredible volley against Kansas City. It was similar to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s goal for Sweden against France, the difference being was that Zlatan’s was from open play and Ianni’s from a set piece. Well worth a watch.

3) Didier Drogba seals China move

This is a world football round-up, and one of the largest salaries in world football was agreed this week. Champions League winner and Chelsea hero Didier Drogba is the lucky beneficiary, joining Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua, where Nicolas Anelka plays currently. His deal runs for two and a half years and will net him £200,000 per week. He will no doubt use plenty of it to fund good projects at home in the Ivory Coast, and best of luck to him. You can watch his best bits for Chelsea in this excellent compilation video.

4) Danilo takes Corinthians to Copa final

The first Copa Libertadores semi-final was tied up this week, with Corinthians clinching the draw they needed against Santos. Neymar scored the goal for Santos, but Danilo hit a crucial equaliser early in the second half to add to their narrow first leg lead. They will play the winner of Boca Juniors and Universidad de Chile in the final, who play tonight with Boca holding a two goal first leg advantage.

5) Adriano KO’s ball boy

Midway through the game, a bizarre incident saw Santos midfielder Adriano take out a ball boy by pushing him over. He was running at speed and trying to keep the ball in play and get the game going as quickly as possible and thought the ball-boy would slow him down. Whatever he was trying to do, it didn’t go to plan. Watch the video below.
