Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the news that Bukayo Saka will not play for England in the coming days.
It has been announced, as relayed by The Athletic, that Arsenal winger Saka will not feature for England in their upcoming games against Albania and Poland.
The 19-year-old, who can also operate as a left-back, did not join up with the England squad ahead of their match against San Marino on Thursday.
There were hopes that Saka would recover from his hamstring injury to turn out for the Three Lions against Albania and Poland.
However, it has been announced that the England international will stay at Arsenal for ‘further assessment on an ongoing issue’.
England won against San Marino with ease and should pick up maximum points against Albania and Poland without too much of a problem.
Saka has been a regular for Arsenal this season, and there have been signs that he could do with a rest.
The winger was taken off at half time against Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby and did not play in the next game against Olympiakos in the Europa League.
Some Arsenal fans are pleased that Saka will not play for England in their next two games.
