Curtis Woodhouse has said on Twitter that John Lundstram would be an excellent signing for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers.
Rangers were linked with the Sheffield United midfielder in the summer of 2020.
The Star reported in August that Rangers were among the clubs interested in securing the services of the 26-year-old.
West Ham United and Brighton and Hove Albion were named as interested parties in the report.
However, no move materialised, and the former England Under-20 international is still at the club.
Former United midfielder Woodhouse believes that Lundstram would be an excellent signing for Rangers.
However, the Englishman has said that he does not want the midfielder to play for the Blades again.
Woodhouse made the comments while watching the 26-year-old in action for the Blades against Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in London in the Premier League on Saturday.
According to WhoScored, the former Everton prospect took one shot which was on target, had a pass accuracy of 81%, took 55 touches, two clearances, and put in one crosses.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Lundstram is out of contract at United in the summer of 2021.
