Speaking on the Keys & Gray Podcast, Sam Allardyce has been speaking about Everton and the possibility of David Moyes returning to the club.

Moyes was strongly linked with a return to Goodison Park in the summer, and with the managerial position at Everton once again becoming available, Richard Keys has asked Allardyce about the possibility of Moyes returning.

However, Allardyce believes that the Scot won’t want to ditch West Ham for Everton at this moment in time.

What’s Allardyce said about Moyes?

“Who next, Ferguson? Rooney? Moyes? Maybe David Moyes?” Keys asked.

“No, Moyesy won’t go back now with what he’s doing with West Ham. He’s got too good of a team now hasn’t he. There’s a structure at West Ham you can work with where you can make them reasonably successful, but the structure isn’t quite there yet at Everton, which is a great shame,” Allardyce said.

No chance

With all due respect to Everton, there’s absolutely no chance that they’ll be able to lure Moyes away from West Ham right now.

It must be noted that there is no indication that Everton would even want Moyes, but if an approach was made, we have to imagine that the 58-year-old would laugh it off.

Think about it, Moyes’ current West Ham team are flying and it’s a side completely built in his image.

Moyes has a fantastic opportunity to get West Ham into the top four this season, so why would he want to swap that for a bottom-half scrap at Everton?
