Jamie Carragher is confident that Tottenham Hotspur-linked James Maddison will leave in the summer transfer window.
The popular pundit made this claim on Monday Night Football (via Sky Sports) when discussing the Leicester City playmaker’s future.
As many expect Tottenham Hotspur or any other interested club to wrap up a transfer for James Maddison, Jamie Carragher is in the same camp too.

Branded as a ‘very rare’ player by Danny Murphy, the Englishman has had an outrageous season at Leicester, with 10 league goals and nine assists to his name.
Despite the Foxes potentially set to get relegated at the end of the campaign, Maddison has somehow managed to fire on all cylinders.
As Tottenham are in desperate need of bulking up their creative department in the transfer window, Jamie Carragher believes James Maddison will be on his way out.
“James Maddison won’t be there next season. If they go down or stay up. I don’t think he will be”, Carragher confidently claimed.
James Maddison could reject Spurs if other clubs are interested
Considering James Maddison would likely be dreaming of playing for a ‘Big Six club’, one can imagine in theory that he pines for a summer transfer to them and leaves Leicester, proving Jamie Carragher right.
While Spurs are a top club by name, their league position does not indicate the same, as can be said about the way they operate on the whole.
With the Conference League in their fortunes, a replacement for Antonio Conte yet to be brought in as well as the lack of a sporting director, surely Maddison would fancy a move elsewhere.
At 26 years of age, the former Norwich City midfielder would perhaps ideally play for a club that look set to seriously contend for trophies.
Otherwise, it could be a little too late for James Maddison to have the trophy-laden career that every footballer pines for.
