A couple of former Arsenal men almost held Tottenham Hotspur to a point on Sunday afternoon.

Spurs beat West Bromwich Albion 1-0 at The Hawthorns to move top of the Premier League temporarily.

And if not for an 88th-minute winner from Harry Kane, Arsenal academy players Semi Ajayi and Kyle Bartley would’ve done their old side a favour against Tottenham.

The centre-back duo were brilliant throughout but it’s Ajayi who really impressed some Gunners fans.

The 26-year-old joined the Emirates Stadium side as a teenager in 2013 and spent two years on their books, before joining Cardiff City.

Arsenal fans never saw much of Ajayi, who only ever played 45 minutes in a pre-season friendly against Boreham Wood in terms of senior appearance.

And here’s how fans of the North London side reacted to his heroics against Tottenham on Sunday.
