Graham Roberts has praised Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane on Twitter for his achievement this week.

Kane scored for Spurs in their 2-1 win against Brighton and Hove Albion at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League at the weekend.

As stated on Spurs’ official website, that goal saw the England international striker take his tally to 149 in 217 Premier League appearances, including three for Norwich City in 2012-13.

The 27-year-old is now the joint 10th top goalscorer in Premier League history with former Spurs star Les Ferdinand.

Former Tottenham star Roberts has congratulated the 27-year-old striker on his achievement, and has boldly predicted that he will soon be in top five and eventually become the top scorer in Premier League history.

Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer is the Premier League’s record scorer with 260 goals.

Can Harry Kane overtake Alan Shearer?

Kane has proved to be a consistent goalscorer in the Premier League, and the England international is showing no signs of slowing down.

Given that the striker is still only 27 years of age, there is a very good chance that he could end up as the top scorer in Premier League history.

Of course, Kane will have to stay fit and not suffer any major injuries, but scoring 111 more goals is not impossible.
