Tottenham Hotspur are set to snap up Manor Solomon after Pini Zahavi brokered a five-year deal for the winger.
Manor Solomon is set to become Tottenham’s latest summer signing after agreeing a five-year contract with the club.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who reports that Solomon has agreed a five-year deal with Tottenham.
It’s stated that Solomon will undergo a medical with Tottenham on Tuesday after super-agent Pini Zahavi brokered the deal.
Zahavi was also involved in bringing Jose Mourinho to Tottenham back in 2019, whilst he currently represents Spurs midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
The Israeli agent has now sorted out a move for his compatriot with a Tottenham switch seemingly imminent.
The Athletic back up Romano’s claims, stating that Solomon is signing a deal with Tottenham until the summer of 2028.
Solomon is able to suspend his Shakhtar Donetsk contract for another year, and his deal ends in December anyway.
That means Tottenham are now able to sign Solomon for free despite the threat of legal action from Shakhtar.
Tottenham and Shakhtar will soon meet in a friendly, so maybe relations have been smoothed out in advance of Solomon’s move.

Manor Solomon a fascinating signing for Tottenham Hotspur
Solomon is a budget-friendly signing for Tottenham but he will certainly divide opinion.
The 23-year-old was impressive in Ukraine, bagging 22 goals and nine assists for Shakhtar whilst being called ‘wonderful’ by boss Paulo Fonseca.
Solomon is versatile having played as a left winger, right winger and attacking midfielder, giving Ange Postecoglou a flexible attacking option.

There is certainly untapped potential in Solomon and Spurs may be impressed with his individual ability to go past players.
Solomon only started four games for Fulham last season though and the expectation levels will only rise with a move to Tottenham.
Solomon was something of a super-sub for Fulham at times last season and will need to kick on if he is to make it at Spurs.
This is a low-risk signing for Tottenham but Solomon must now make good on his potential and become a real contributor under Ange Postecoglou.
