Jamie O’Hara has appeared to criticise Arsenal defender David Luiz for his post-match actions after Sunday’s defeat at the Emirates Stadium.
Manchester City eased to an 18th victory in a row as Raheem Sterling’s winner after two minutes proved the difference between both sides on a day where the Gunners never really looked like doing much.
Luiz, an £8 million signing in 2019, came on for the concussed Rob Holding in the final 10 minutes and the Brazil international was seen on camera sharing a joke with some opposing players after the game in what the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder claims is a ‘shambles’.
It was a minor grievance but it did sort of illustrate how far Arsenal had fallen.
The North Londoners, who are 10th in the Premier League, gave Pep Guardiola’s side far too much respect during the game and, as Luiz demonstrated, a lot of respect after it too.
Arsenal and City never had a huge rivalry in comparison to historic meetings with Manchester United or Tottenham, but it still wasn’t a good look to see Luiz laughing and joking with the enemy directly after the full-time whistle.
