According to The Sun, Wolverhampton Wanderers are looking to sign Harry Wilson from Liverpool on loan and that could be a really smart addition to Nuno’s squad.

Wilson has impressed with Derby County in the Championship this season, and could be loaned out again next term.

Wolves are eager to take Wilson and offer him a chance to play Premier League football, and they would be making a really clever move by bringing in the winger on a temporary basis.

Wolves have the money to buy Wilson outright, with Liverpool said to be wanting £25 million for him (Sun).

But by bringing him in loan Wolves effectively could secure the youngster on a try before you buy basis.

Wilson looks as if he could have masses of potential, but he is yet to prove himself at the top level.

By taking him on loan first, Nuno can get a vast understanding of the Welsh international, before committing big money on signing him.

If Wilson does impress at Wolves then he is likely to want to stay, as their project is so exciting. But if he doesn’t quite make the grade then Wolves will not have lost much money in taking a closer look at the winger.

And Wolves’ strategy over signing Wilson looks like it could be really clever, as Nuno’s side continue to impress in the transfer market.
