Wolves could be an intriguing destination for Solanke, considering their table topping form in the Championship.
Instead of playing for a struggling team where he would find it tough to impress, Solanke could move to a side which is high on form, and blessed with creative players who are full of confidence.
Solanke has a better chance of scoring more regularly for Wolves, and adding to his growing reputation.
The young striker won the Golden Ball at the under-20 FIFA World Cup, and England would love him to hit form so that he can translate that promise to senior international level.
It could be a risk for Solanke if he considers a Championship move detrimental to his chances, and he should reach out to England boss Gareth Southgate beforehand.
But Wolves are flying at the top of the league and getting the chance to play under respected manager Nuno Santo should be beneficial.
The ideal solution would be that Jurgen Klopp gives him a chance at Liverpool, but at present a loan switch appears his best short term option.
