Newcastle United should attempt to sign the Wolverhampton Wanderers star.

Rafa Benitez has his work cut-out at Newcastle this summer, if he is to bring some genuine quality into the club, but if he plays his cards right, Wolves winger Helder Costa could easily be on the Toon’s radar.
According to a report from the Daily Mirror, the Black Country outfit are willing to sell Costa for somewhere in the region of £20 million this summer, and should Newcastle find a way of raising the cash, he would be an excellent addition to Rafa’s squad.

The Portuguese winger joined Wolves originally on loan from Monaco in the summer of 2016, before making his switch a permanent one the following January, and he has really impressed during his time at Molineux.

Costa has chalked up 17 goals and 17 assists in 79 appearances in all competitions for Wolves, an that kind of attacking output would surely be welcomed at St James’ Park.
In order for Newcastle to afford the £20 million transfer fee for the 24-year-old, however, they will need to sell first, and one player who should guarantee them a decent transfer fee is Aleksandar Mitrovic.

If the Magpies can garner around £15-20 million for the Serb, they will be in a strong position from which to bring in Costa, and the Portuguese ace would be a far better option than Andros Townsend for the Toon.
The Wolves ace is a really exciting talent – one who will have the St James’ Park faithful on their feet, and if Rafa manages to bring him to Tyneside, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for Newcastle.
