Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers have a number of talented youngsters, including former Liverpool starlet Paulo Alves.

There are plenty of reasons for Wolverhampton Wanderers fans to be excited right now – especially with the future looking very bright at Molineux right now.
Rob Edwards’ U23 side are only behind Manchester United in the Premier League 2 second tier at the moment and have scored 22 goals in eight games, aided by a 7-0 thrashing of Sunderland.
As a result, a whole host of Wolves’ youngsters have caught the eye of first-team manager Nuno Espirito Santo. Elliot Watt, Pedro Goncalves and Benny Ashley-Seal made their senior debuts this season, while Andreas Sondergaard has also been turning heads behind the scenes.
And Edwards has paid tribute to another highly-rated talent, Paulo Alves, and suggested that he could become a big part of his plans in the near future.
“We have Paulo Alves on the periphery as well, he came from Liverpool and has worked hard, he’s a talented footballer with a good attitude,” Edwards told the Express and Star.

20-year-old Alves is an attacking midfielder who was signed on a two-year deal after his contract with Liverpool expired. The Madeira-born youngster helped Liverpool win the Premier League 2 title last season.
Edwards has also been impressed by Max Kilman, a 25-cap England international Futsal player who arrived in August from Maidenhead. England U19 international Sadou Diallo also rocked up from Manchester City while Danish centre-back Alex Molberg was signed on loan from Hobro until January.
“Our new signings – Max, Sadou and Alex Molberg who’s come in on loan, they’ve undoubtedly helped us as a group.”
